The Stance of a Believer

Isaiah 50:4, 5, 7

 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens my ear To hear as the learned. The Lord GOD has opened my ear; and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. For the Lord God will help me; therefore I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.

 In spite of the chaos, turbulence, terror and gross darkness, the people of God are not helpless, for our hope is beyond this world! How is that possible? Well, it’s because while we may not always know what, when, where or why, we do know WHO! Hebrews 12:2tells us, “Looking unto JESUS, the author and finisher of our faith.”

In other words, every day we are encouraged by The Word of God to turn our hearts GODWARD, tuning our ears toward The Mouth of God morning by morning listening for The Voice of the Lord, expecting Him to instruct His Covenant Remnant, how to remain courageously strong and confidently assured because we know that ALL of our help comes from GOD! 

Armed with this spiritual intel, we are able to be still, faithful and obedient and fully persuaded, relying wholly upon the impeccable record of our Eternal Vindicator, we shall never be defeated nor put to shame!
