All through Jesus Christ

We may not personally have it all together, but together as a church family we can have it all through Jesus Christ.

Paul writes of Timothy in 2 Timothy: 5-6 “When I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.”

Both Timothy’s mother and grandmother were early believers. They taught him as we should to share our beliefs and talents. We all as a church family hold steadfast to the Good News. Just don’t hide that bright light from your own family, especially the nonbelievers in your family and friends to your acquaintances. These people are plentiful fields for planting the seeds of the Good News. Let all your family know your faith in Jesus Christ, especially your prodigals. Be sure they see Christ’s love, helpfulness and His joy in you.

Growing our church family of faith is like Paul after his journey to Crete. Titus 1:5 “For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you. We all are the elders for our own family and community. Never underestimate the effect of godly wisdom shared with the people we love. We must share our belief in Jesus Christ.
