“It’s Time”

As a new year is upon us we evaluate, we asses, we adjust, and we make what we believe changes in our daily lives. These changes can be spiritual or things that effect our physical well being. For most people they call these changes New Year Resolutions. And we all know what happens to those ? I am reminded as this new year approaches when Jesus was walking along the shore of the sea.

In The Gospel of Mark Chapter 1 verses 16 thru 20.

And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets.

And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after Him.

Jesus is still walking amongst us today in the form of the Holy Spirit calling us once again. He sees us! He sees us at work, at the store, with our friends, He sees us in our everyday routines. And He is calling us to be fishers of men, men and woman who are willing to let Jesus interrupt our daily routine to make a difference in the life of the person He puts in-front of us. As we see the day approaching I believe “It’s Time”. It’s time to become fishers of men once again, time to let the Holy Spirit work through you to bring others to Jesus.
