Be Prepared

Psalm 18:35

“You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.

 Sometimes, unbelief and doubt can creep into our walks. The enemy has tactics that have worked on many a Christian that has not prepared for battle. Ephesians 6:12 warns us that we don’t fight against flesh and blood, but the battle we step into is a Spiritual one. Having this perspective is the first step in knowing how to win these battles. Understand that it’s not your boss, your spouse, your children, or your “bad luck” that is the enemy. These are specific strikes against your faith. The way to thwart those strikes is remembering that you are God’s beloved child. The “Shield of Your salvation” is one piece of protection that is most effective against such attacks. Remember that God is on your side. He has given you salvation. His right hand holds you up and makes you GREAT!!!
