The Entirety of Your Word Is Truth

I see the treacherous, and am disgusted, because they do not keep Your word. Consider how I love Your precepts; Revive me, O Lord, according to Your lovingkindness.  The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgements endures forever.   Psalm 119:158-160

David saw the treacherous in his time and was disgusted. Treacherous is defined as: unfaithful, traitorous, disloyal, deceitful, false, double-crossing, perfidious, two-faced, untrustworthy, shifty, duplicitous, and underhanded.

Just as in David’s time we can see the treacherousness all around us. This is of the enemy, his way of twisting the truth. Satan uses these methods to create the result we see the world in today.   We see this personally every day in our workplaces, our schools, our governments. But the Holy Spirit has given Christians the ability to discern Satan’s schemes and as David states; God’s word is truth and every one of God’s judgements are righteous and this will endure forever.

David prayed for God to revive him. Revive is defined as: resuscitate, recover, recuperate, regain consciousness, wake up, revitalize, renew, restore, refresh, stimulate and reinforce.

We need to continue to shake off the world, and do as David prayed, and seek to be revived.

Be blessed,

Alan
