Palm Sunday the day that Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

On this Palm Sunday as we enter into Holy week, remembering this is the day that Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

John 12:12-13 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out

“Hosanna!”

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!”

“The King of Israel!”

Jesus knew he was entering into His last week before laying his life down for our sins.

When I think about this, if someone was on death row and the only way to save that life would be for me offer up the life of my son to pardon him, NO WAY!

I love my son too much to give up his life for someone else’s sin. However, Gods love for you and me is so much greater, that He gave his one and only Son for our sins.

May we continually reflect, not only on this important day and upcoming week but daily on God’s love for us and the sacrifice He made so we could spend eternity with Him.

 Blessings

Jim
