Engage your temptation

“Take control of what I say, O LORD, and guard my lips. Don’t let me drift toward evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong.”

Psalm: 141:3-4

 How do you deal with temptation? Don’t ignore it, or pretend it doesn’t exist and hope it goes away. We are not alone in this fight, ask God for help. We have a living advocate the Holy Spirit who helps us daily with our struggles. Just ask God for help and He is faithful..

 “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you.”
