No matter how strong the shackles of lust, drugs, alcohol, deceit, our flesh , or sin, the Holy Spirit is still in the business of breaking these chains and setting men and women free from the bondage that ensnares them.
Acts 12:5-7 says- Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.
Matthew 7:7-8 says- ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
The most important fact of my existence to remember is this– God is always with me, and He will always take care of me. Live within the confines of today, do not focus on tomorrows worries, or past regrets. God is committed to caring for me, and He is completely capable to do just that. He says come to me all you who are weary, and I will give you rest. God will orchestrate your life my friend, let Him do it!
