As I look around and ponder all that God is doing in my life personally and then meditate on all that Christ has done for me, all that He is, and all that He personally has sacrificed for me. I find myself taking inventory on my life, my actions, my thoughts, my words, my motives, and my heart. Am I  still growing in Christ? Am I allowing God to change those areas of my life that are opposite of Him? Am I growing in grace towards others? Am I growing in love? Am I allowing forgiveness of others in my life? Being less judgmental of others? Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to have His way in my Life? Or do I have the attitude that I have arrived and living at the top of my spiritual game! Boy if thats the case we have failed Jesus miserably, we have failed the body of Christ, and we have fooled ourselves.

“Am I getting nobler, better, more helpful, more humble, as I get older? Am I exhibiting the life that men take knowledge of as having been with Jesus, or am I getting more self-assertive, more deliberately determined to have my own way? It is a great thing to tell yourself the truth.”

Our actions, our words, and our attitudes will always tell others just how close to Jesus you really are.

Jesus said “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35
